Marcy founded Wire Media, LLC in 2012. She has led branding, design, and technology projects for clients including the Humane Society, Box Inc., Environmental Defense Fund, The Solutions Project, Stanford University, and Democratic and progressive political campaigns in the US, Africa, and the Caribbean.

Marcy is a frequent speaker and author on topics including web accessibility, visual storytelling, web design, and branding. She has served on many boards over the years including the LA County Fire Department Foundation and the LA Chamber of Commerce. 

She has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Fine Arts in design and technology from Parsons the New School for Design. She lives in Marina del Rey, CA and can often be found racing sailboats in the Pacific Ocean.

Ruwantha is a creative, organized, and proactive Project Manager with over seven years of experience managing creative and SaaS projects, ranging from 3D infrastructure simulations, and forensic animation to web design, and mobile application development.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital 3D Design from the University of Salford, a Master of Fine Arts in Animation & Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University, and a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University. He is also Project Management Professional (PMP) as certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Tarine is a UX and visual designer with 6 years of experience designing for change within social justice, global health and youth leadership organizations. She is passionate about using her skills to understand and co-create with the most impacted communities. As a research-driven designer, she conveys complex information in a way that is equitable, intuitive, and delightful. Tarine’s specialty lies within print/digital design, user research, branding, and motion design.Tarine holds a BFA in Graphic Design from George Mason University and lives in Washington, DC.

Dylan is a web developer and consultant with over 10 years of experience working closely with clients and design teams to create web sites that offer an engaging and intuitive user experience. He is also our technical lead on web accessibility.

He holds a Bachelors of Communication from Salisbury University and a Web Development Certification from Boston University Center for Digital Arts. Dylan is working on his certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.

Amber is a Seattle-based web developer with a decade of experience building accessible and user-friendly web experiences that help mission-driven organizations make a positive impact in the world.

She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Mary Washington. Following a formative stint as a hairstylist, she studied web development at Seattle Central College and received a graduate certificate in User-Centered Design from the University of Washington. Her unique journey into web development has greatly influenced her curiosity-driven approach to problem-solving, collaboration, and the integration of diverse perspectives into her work.

Sam is an experienced and versatile Wordpress web developer with 15 years experience building quality websites for nonprofits, and handling technical setup and configuration for launches and email. His experience extends into design and branding as well.

Sam lives in California with his wife, child, and their dog. He donates websites to animal shelters and spends his free time woodworking and making music.

Kathryn is a lifelong writer and creative with a background in nonprofit research, grants, and development. She is a skilled multimedia storyteller who has published various narrative projects on marginalized communities for accessible social change. Kathryn specializes in copywriting/editing, content design, and story development. She holds a BA in Political Science and Faith, Peace, and Justice from Boston College and has also studied political philosophy and writing at Sarah Lawrence College, the University of Chicago, and the London School of Economics.

In her spare time, Kathryn is pursuing her many hobbies, such as podcasting, cooking, photography, listening to albums, and building Lego sets.

Erica Rice is a nonprofit professional with 10 years of experience serving marginalized communities. She is a skilled systems-builder with a diverse background in both the nonprofit and government sectors. She has worked on a variety of issues ranging from health inequities among under-resourced populations to violence prevention and intervention. Erica is particularly interested in addressing racial inequities through the art of storytelling.

A social worker by training, Erica has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis.

Buster (white) and Rammy (grey) share a long history of working together to bring joy, delight, and a little mayhem to the team. They are skilled at extracting extra treats from unsuspecting humans, sleeping for an unimaginable number of hours in a row, and making sure that the office remains 100% bug-free at all times.

Educated first on the streets, and later via home schooling, Buster & Rammy speak fluent human though they often pretend not to hear. They often give early morning lectures on the benefits of providing sustenance to early risers, like themselves. And both have developed an endearing habit of asking for belly rubs.
